Private Plane

Private Plane is a private overlay network with customizable IP address range and Geo-location access. It is designed for team and organization use. It is a perfect solution for your team to remotely access your on-premise or cloud resources, no matter they are physical hosts, virtual machines or containers.

Each Private Plane requires a active subscription to use. At the moment, we only support a limited number of users. Please contact us to get your private plane.

Create a Private Plane

To create a private plane, simply click the Private Plane tile in the navigation menu. Then, click the Add Plane button.

Fill in the form, and click the Create button.

Note: Veil does not determine which control channel infrastructure your Private Plane will use, VeilNet Infrastructure is globally available.

Warning: You can not change the veil after the plane is created. If you need to change the veil, you need to delete the plane and create a new one.

Warning: Veil will determine the Geo-location access for your Private Plane. All Conflux instances will not be able to connect to your Private Plane if the Geo-location is different, under any circumstances.

Things you must know about Private Plane

Private Plane is a unique offering from VeilNet, here are some things you must know about it.

• Virtual Air Gap: Private Plane is a virtual air gap network. Conflux instances under different Private Planes will not be able to communicate with each other and not even aware of the existence of each other.
• Plane Subnet: The subnet of the Private Plane can be any subnet you want, as long as it is not conflicting with your existing networks. Its existence is purely for compatability with conventional IP networks, since VeilNet is essentially a non-IP network. This means you can even use Public IP Range as the subnet of your Private Plane.
• Team Association: You can associate multiple teams to a Private Plane, and multiple Private Planes to a team. We will explain more about team association in Access Control section.
• Subscription: If your subscription is expired, your Private Plane will be automatically disabled. All Conflux instances under the plane will be disconnected from the VeilNet. You do not need one subscription per user, who joined your Private Plane. The subscription is associated with the Private Plane, not the user. Everyone has unlimited access to the Private Plane as long as they are allowed by you.
